Indoor airPLUS is the EPA program for new homes that builds on the ENERGY STAR program to recognize indoor air quality (IAQ) features in a new home. Through this EPA partnership, Beazer has committed to promoting indoor airPLUS qualified homes that provide homeowners with improved IAQ. To earn the indoor airPLUS label, a home must meet strict guidelines set by the EPA for improving IAQ. Just like ENERGY STAR, the home is certified by an independent third-party inspector. Builders employ a variety of construction practices and technologies to improve the IAQ in new homes. Construction specifications include moisture and mold control, radon resistant construction (where applicable), pest barriers, effective heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems, safe combustion, and healthier building materials. Actual energy utility costs and impact of solar offsets will depend on numerous factors, including but not limited to, personal utility usage, rates, fees and charges of local energy providers, individual home features and orientation, household size, and local climate conditions. Homes located in multifamily communities may be limited or unable to install solar. Beazer makes no representation or warranty with regard to whether solar will be installable, or the solar generation capability if installed, in a particular home. Because numerous factors and inputs may affect monthly energy bill costs, buyers should not rely solely or substantially on the utility savings claim in making a decision to purchase any Beazer home. The actual as-built utility cost on any individual Beazer home will be calculated by a RESNET-certified independent energy evaluator based on an on-site inspection and may vary from the as-designed rating shown on the advertisement depending on factors such as changes made to the applicable home plan, different appliances or features, and variation in the location and/or manner in which the home is built. Beazer does not warrant or guarantee any particular level of energy use costs or savings will be achieved. Beazer has no affiliation with RESNET or any other provider mentioned above, all of whom are third parties. In CA and select communities where solar is included in the base price of the home, estimated average monthly energy costs will generally include anticipated solar offset.
