My wife Linda and I have been watching the housing market in the Myrtle Beach area for some time. Our dream is to retire there within a few years and leave the hustle and bustle of the Washington- Metropolitan area we call home. After several trips spending weekends with friends in Murrells Inlet, we were exhausted searching through foreclosures for a bargain home.
While traveling back to Maryland, our friends in Murrells Inlet called us and told us about a development with new homes in Cameron Village. They stopped in and talked to Jenny Bushey, the Beazer Home representative, and passed all the information on to us. We contacted Jenny and our journey to build a new home began. She could not have been more kind, patient, and helpful. We also worked with Renee Brown, Beazer Homes - Bank of America agent. We were qualified very quickly, chose our lot, and were under contract seamlessly. It just amazed us how friendly everyone was. All of our questions were answered with professionalism seldom seen today.
After attending the design studio, picking out our colors and options, we met our builder; Vayden Cail. Vayden could not have been more down to earth and just down right "Good People." He explained the whole process to us and answered many questions. I have built homes in the past, but have never had any that went as smooth as this home. We asked for a few changes during the construction period and all were done without a minute's hesitation. Once Jenny and Vayden got approval, it was done. The house was completed on schedule and we settled by mail. Our friends went on the final walk through and we came down to see our beautiful home the following week. Vayden met us for a follow-up walk through with no problems found.
Linda and I send special thanks to Jenny, Renee, and Vayden and many people behind the scenes that truly made this a stress free and great experience. It was a pleasure working with you all and will stay in contact with our new friends in Myrtle Beach in the future.
