I’m a native Michigander, used to moderate summer temps and low humidity. Summertime in the deep south is extreme on both counts...features of my new Beazer ranch home near Atlanta makes summer feel like the north woods. I couldn’t believe my first electric bill for June with 90 degree temps more than half the days and glasses-steaming humidity --$72.54 ! No air leaks around windows or doors, my cat sleeps in sunny spots and barely warms her belly, indoor temp is 75 degrees. I can cool 3000 sf for 30% less than my previous home - an 1800 sf town home with only two sides exposed to weather. Air in my home is clean--little dust, no irritating pollen or new construction fumes --housekeeping is easier, asthma is no problem. Best decision I ever made was building my Beazer home!

I've found the perfect home for me !! The Beazer Home model "Driftwood" is a ranch home with everything I needed, as a "60 +" retired lady, with hip & knee replacement I required a one level home. The master bedroom and master bathroom is very large with a huge walk-in closet. The laundry room is very convenient, between closet and hall. This model has three bedrooms with optional bonus room & bath upstairs (for the grand kids !!) It also has a double car garage, front and back porches and fireplace. I chose the build-in bookcase for all my books, pictures and treasures. The kitchen is beautiful... tons of cabinets, pantry, double sink, bar, etc that looks into family room...I can cook and visit, watch TV..never miss a thing. Needless to say I'm loving my Beazer Home and retirement !!!

My husband and I moved from south Florida to Hampton Station in January 2010. We have a ranch model with a basement on a wooded lot. We sit on our back porch with our coffee and consider ourselves in paradise. From the sales staff to the builder to the neighbors, the community is both welcoming and friendly. The clubhouse, the pool, and the amenities area is beautifully landscaped and spacious. We enjoy the time we spend there immensely and we never leave without meeting new friends. Our home is the perfect model for entertaining as well as housing family and friends who come to visit. We could not be happier living in Hampton Station.
