Extreme Makeover Home Edition Story

To rescue the hard-working Harper family in Atlanta, GA plagued with an ongoing struggle, Beazer Homes joined forces with ABC-TV's hit show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." The task: resolve a living nightmare; a house under siege from a septic tank. The solution: demolish their house and build a 5,307 square foot custom home in its place.

The demolition on Tuesday, January 18 was thrilling! The construction marathon continued for five days and nine hours straight. Altogether, an estimated 1,800 Beazer Homes employees and partners donated their time and materials to build the house. The home received some finishing touches on Sunday, January 23 before the Harper family returned from Disneyland.

The Harpers wished for the "someday" when their prayers would be answered. Now, in their brand new home built by Beazer, Someday Starts Today. Learn more about the Harper family
