Smarter ways to use water
Moen is committed to designing and producing water efficient products that help homeowners conserve this precious commodity. By using Moen’s low flow faucets, Beazer homeowners use up to 32% less water. The Moen water conscious showerhead will, on average, use 30 less gallons of water per day. Over the course of a year, this adds up to over 10,000 gallons of water saved!

Committed to sustainability
Armstrong has a history of wise resource use dating back to 1909 when it began recycling 100% natural cork waste. As the world’s largest hardwood flooring company, it also has a vested interest in protecting the forests where raw materials originate.
Shaw
Eco-friendly flooring
Shaw is committed to environmental stewardship through initiatives like their carpet dyeing technology that uses far less water, and dyes that don’t contain toxic heavy metals. Each year Shaw diverts approximately 13,000,000 pounds of soft waste from landfills and puts it back into products. Additionally, they have developed the worlds’ most sustainably engineered hardwood flooring.

Respecting the environment
CertainTeed is continually looking for ways to reduce the homebuilding industry's impact on the environment. Their FiberCement siding is a prime example of the company’s respect for the environment and ongoing pursuit of green home oriented technologies. Most of CertainTeed’s wood fiber comes from sustainably managed forests. The firm is currently working with suppliers to ensure eco-certification of 100% of its wood fiber pulp.

Every new Beazer eco-home comes standard with GE EnergySmart™ Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs (CFLs) and GE ENERGY STAR® dishwashers. GE has increased its Ecomagination portfolio from 17 products in 2005 to more than 80 products today and together the company is working to create tomorrow’s environmental solutions.
