Many homebuilders design homes based on theories like proportionality and connectivity.
While those are important, Beazer Homes takes it several steps further. We focus on the realities of how homeowners are going to use their home.
How do we do it? With a unique approach we call
SMARTDESIGN.
With
SMARTDESIGN, we collaborate with
and draw inspiration from industry experts who truly understand living spaces-like professional
chefs, interior designers and organizing experts. That's the basis for our ground-breaking
partnership with organizing expert
Monica Ricci, an industry trailblazer and longtime member
of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). By working with Monica and
others, we're able to key in on what today's homebuyer needs and design homes that go above and
beyond what you've grown to expect out of a home. It's an advantage you can only find at Beazer.

A Place for Everything
From the moment you move into a Beazer home there's a place for everything. With the help of Monica, we spend a lot of time thinking about how a
home "works"-where to put simple things, whether it's a coat, an oversized pan or a box of wrapping paper. It requires spaces that are as functional
as they are beautiful. And we do it all without sacrificing the size of the rooms homeowners care about most.
The Chef's Personal Kitchen
When it comes to the kitchen, our in-house designers turn to the inspiration of professional chefs who know what makes a kitchen work better.
Together with the insights we've gained by working with Monica, we focus on everything. It starts with locating key features appropriately. We call it
the "Chef's Triangle"-the distance between the stove, sink and refrigerator. It's what grounds the kitchen. It's what also makes it possible for other
features to help the kitchen function better-features like the pantry, cabinets and cutlery drawers. Understanding this, and optimizing it, is how we're
able to balance cooking with living, and elevate both at the same time.
A Retreat for the Owner
Elevating the owner's suite to an owner's retreat requires thinking beyond conventional floor plans. A large space, sitting room and luxurious bathroom
can only work if some thought has been put into where the suite is placed in relation to the other rooms in the house, the acoustics, the closet space,
the time of day the area will be most used and more. By combining our knowledge with the experts, no detail is overlooked.
